SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Global Manufacturing is saddened to announce the passing of long-time process improvement technician Juan Ortiz on May 21st, 2019. Juan has been an integral part of the bowling industry since he started in 1962. Since its inception, Global Manufacturing has leaned heavily on Juan to maintain and streamline its production equipment. “Juan’s ability to turn a concept into reality was uncanny. He was able to quickly look at the mechanical process and implement necessary improvements. His tenure in the bowling manufacturing industry has had an unprecedented impact on millions of bowlers.” Says Nick Siefers, Director of Operations and Engineering for Global Manufacturing.

Anyone who has thrown a piece of 900 Global equipment has been impacted in some way by Juan’s work. Juan was an irreplaceable part of the Global family that will be missed dearly.
