Lorie Taylor, our Director the past 8 years at our national event and before that, our Director for 15 years in Toledo, has retired from the tournament bowling business. Over the years, she has been a familiar face at the FFG for all of our sites. Lorie dedicated her time keeping the FFG running in all these cities and made many friends along the way. Join us in wishing Lorie all the best in her new endeavors as she will be settling back in Toledo with her family and grand kids!
New on the scene is Tres Smith, who will be taking Lorie’s place as the FFG USA & Ladies Doubles Tournament Director in Syracuse. Tres comes to us with many years of experience in the bowling tournament business. He has many bowling accolades including (19) 300 games and (3) 800 series. Tres was inducted into the Ann Arbor, Michigan Hall of Fame in 2013. One of his proudest and most enjoyable accomplishments is his 13 years as a USBC certified youth high school coach where his 2014 team won a state championship.Tres has been an outstanding squad leader for us in Toledo since 1994 and for the past 20 years he has brought a squad to the USBC Open Championships. This year he will be bowling in his 25th consecutive USBC Open Championships.
